MS Volleyball teams defeat Felicity, win 3rd match of the week - 10/1/2020
The seventh grade Ladycats won in two sets with the Cardinals. The scores were 25-18 and 25-21. Jocelyn Lansing had nine serves, two aces, and four kills. Emma Hartmann had fifteen serves, two aces, two kills, and one block. Mackenzie Blankenbeckler had seven serves and four good passes. Kaytlyn Throckmorton had seven serves and three good passes. Lily Roy had eleven serves and five aces. Bailie Bare had sixteen serves and three aces. Heather Wysong had four good passes, Ava George had three good passes, Hailee Harris had three good passes, and Marissa Stein had four good passes. The ladies improve to 9-7.

Both MS Volleyball teams go 3 sets to defeat Hillsboro - 9/30/2020
The seventh grade team went to three sets with Hillsboro. They won the first set 27-25, lost the second 25-21, and won the third 25-17.

The seventh and eighth grade teams played their best games of the season against a solid Hillsboro team. When the girls face a well rounded team they have play scared, but tonight they stepped up and played with everything they had in them. I hope to carry this
momentum into our next game.

The seventh grade ladycats suffered a tough loss to the CNE Rockets. They lost 25-17, and 25-6. The team drops to 6-7. Jocelyn Lansing had seven service points, two aces, one kill, and nine good passes. Emma Hartmann had a couple service points, a few kills and five good passes. Hailee Harris and Ava George each contributed three good passes. Mackenzie Blankenbeckler had one service point and one good pass. Marissa Stein had two service points and one good pass. Kaytlyn Throckmorton had one service point and one good pass. Bailie Bare had five service points and one good pass. Heather Wysong had one service point, and two good passes.

The seventh grade lost the first set 25-5, and rallied back to win the second and third set 25-21 and 25-20. Jocelyn Lansing ended the night with fourteen service points, six aces, three kills, and one block. Emma Hartmann recorded four service points, one ace, and two kills. Hailee Harris had four service points and a few good passes. Lily Roy contributed eleven service points and four aces. Marissa Stein also contributed eleven service points and seven aces. The BMS Volleyball team suffered a tough loss to the Williamsburg Wildcats. The 7th grade team lost in three sets against Williamsburg. Williamsburg won the first set 25-12, Blanchester won the second set 25-22, and lost the third set 25-11. The team’s record is now 5-6.
The 8th grade team lost in two sets. The first set was 25-12 and the second set was 25-16. The team is 4-7.

The Blanchester Middle School Volleyball teams swept the East Clinton Astros.

few good passes and Hailee Harris contributed two service points and one ace. Emma Hartmann had five service pointsand two aces.

The 8th grade volleyball team came out with the win. The first set was 25-9 and the second set was 25-8. The team is 2-3 for the season. The 8th grade girls came ready to fight. I’m extremely proud of their attitudes and their hard work.

MS Volleyball takes two from Georgetown - 8/27/2020
The 7th grade won in two sets over Georgetown, 25-23 and 25-14. Great serves by Mallory Creager, Lily Roy, and Jocelyn Lansing helped lead the way. Overall everyone played extremely well and everyone on the team contributed to the win.
The 8th grade also won in two sets against Georgetown. They won the first set 25-15 and battled to win the second set 25-22. Bobbi Sue White, Morgyn Coyle, and Tamara Stewart also contributed key serves in their game. The whole team came ready to play today. Defense, offense, and most importantly attitude were on point.
