Ticket Information for Winter Sports |

|
This is the ticketing policy that we have decided on for Winter Sports here at Blanchester. We tried to come up with something that would allow as many family members of Blanchester Wildcat athletes as possible to watch in person. If you are unable to watch the games in person, there will be a streaming option for games played in the HS gym. The streaming camera was installed on Friday, and is currently being calibrated for the best possible off site viewing experience. More details will follow on streaming.
Wrestling ticket information will be released at a later time.

Winter Sports Parent Meeting
Each sports season we are required to have a winter sports parent meeting. For Winter Sports this year, we are trying something different. The information that we go over during parent meetings is in the YouTube video posted here. It is about 15 minutes long. Please take the time to view this video, and if you have any questions please let me know.
Also, your athlete's coach should be sending you information about their individual team rules and regulations. |

The Blanchester Schools Foundation has scholarship opportunities to help with the cost of pay to participate fees ($100 for HS athletes, $75 for MS athletes).
Applications for WINTER sports 2020-2021 have been extended to Wednesday November 11.

MIDDLE SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS TRYOUTS
We currently have a number of students who are quarantined and intend to try out for our middle school sports teams. It is only fair that they be given the same opportunity to try out as their non-quarantined classmates. When the quarantined students return to school they will get a minimum of two "try-out" practices to earn a spot on the team.
This is an unprecedented situation, so we are learning as we go. Thank you for being patient with us.

PLAY MORE THAN ONE SPORT
Multi - Sport Benefits The athletic department and administration at Blanchester Local Schools promote playing as many OHSAA school sponsored sports as possible. The benefits of being a diverse athlete far out weight the potential benefits of specialization. The benefits of multiple-sport participation include better leadership and teamwork skills from cross-training, reduced risk of burnout in one sport, a variety of experiences from involvement with different sports and teams, reduced risk of overuse injuries in one sport and exposure to a variety of coaching styles. please read.....
