The Ladycats won an excited game against Fayetteville tonight 25-15, 23-25, 17-25, 25-14 and 15-11.
The girls played really good and as a team tonight. Our passing was on, which lead to us being able to hit the ball. We had 58 kills total as a team.
Shelbie Rose had 52 assists, one kill, 20 service points and 5 perfect passes. Asia Baldwin had 22 kills, 4 blocks, 19 service points and 18 perfect passes. Cheyenne Brown had one assist, 9 kills, 20 service points and 7 perfect passes. Ally Davis had 7 kills, 9 service points and 23 perfect passes. The Ladycats beat Bethel Tate tonight 25-15, 25-18 and 25-12.
It was a great win for the Seniors on their Senior night. The four senior have put a lot of heart and soul in this program the last four years. They are really going to be missed.

The Ladycats bounced back after a tough loss to Clinton Massie the night before to beat Felicity 25-9, 25-21 and 25-6.
The girls played really well tonight. Our passing was really well which made the rest of the game flow good. All 11 girls on the varsity roster contributed to the win tonight.

The Ladycats bounced back after a Monday loss to beat Georgetown 25-22, 25-17 and 25-14. The girls started off really slow and sluggish but they quickly picked up the pace and fought back to pull off the win.

The ladies came out and played really hard and never really gave up. There were times when things weren't going our way and they stuck it out and fought hard to the end.
Asia Baldwin played really good defense tonight. She stayed on her toes and moved to the ball really well tonight. She ended the night with 13 digs, 7 perfect passes, 8 kills, 2 blocks and 16 service points.
Morgan Oberle played the net amazing tonight. She had 12 blocks, 6 kills, 10 digs, 10 perfect passes and 10 service points.

The girls really fought hard to keep their momentum and energy up throughout the whole game. We have been battling sickness and injuries the couple days but the girls didn't stop and pushed through to pull out the win.
Ally Davis really stepped up tonight and was hitting the ball pretty hard tonight. She finished the game with 7 kills, one block, 6 perfect passes and 12 service points.

JV Volleyball @ Georgetown
The Blanchester JV Ladycats won in two sets against Georgetown Tuesday 25-18 & 25-16. Molly Campbell led the Ladycats with 13 service points and 2 aces. Destiny Waldron added 6 points, a kill and an ace. Holly Scott had 5 points, 11 assists, 2 aces, a block and a kill. Noelani Tangonan contributed two points and an ace. Marissa Jacobs had 4 kills and Kelli Hoffman played strong defense in the libero position. Caili Baumann controlled the net for the Ladycats with 8 kills and 2 blocks. -Jamie Kingsland
8/24/17 - Ladycats Volleyball HOME vs Wilmington
The Ladycats picked up their first win over Wilmington Thursday night. 25-13, 25-12 and 25-15
The girls really showed up to play tonight. They worked together as a team to pull out the win. Everyone was moving, communicating and flowing together.
We have been focusing a lot on our passing. Tonight our passes were a lot better which lead us to be able to set the ball and hit. The offense was hitting pretty hard tonight from every position.
Cheyenne Brown lead with 19 service points and 6 kills. Shelbie Rose had 14 service points and 13 assists. Asia Baldwin had 17 service points, 3 kills and 13 perfect passes. Casey Kingland had 10 service points, 3 kills and 9 assists. Ally Davis 5 service points, one assist and 2 kills. Morgan Oberle had 9 service points, 12 perfect passes, 11 kills and 3 blocks. The Blanchester JV Ladycats won their home opener against Batavia in two sets tonight 25-16 & 25-17. Caili Bauman & Noelani Tangonan led the Ladycats with 4 kills each. Holly Scott added 2 kills and 7 assists. Destiny Waldron contributed with her serving having 3 aces. Kassidy Abney and Kelli Hoffman played some outstanding defense and Marissa Jacobs had a block.
