9/21/17 - BMS Volleyball @ New Richmond
The 7th grade Blanchester Ladycats Volleyball team won in 3 sets Thursday night at New Richmond. After losing the first set 24-26, the team came back strong winning the next two sets 25-16, 25-14. Ainsley Whitaker led the team with 16 service points, 11 aces, and 1 block. Summer Schutte, Hailey Muvihill, and Josee Wilson each had 7 service points. Hailey also had 4 kills and 1 block. Makayla Lanham had 4 service points with 3 aces. Mia Torres played a great game in the back row with 3 perfect passes.  -Coach Mulvihill

Another hard fought win for Blanchester's 8th grade volleyball team as they took down New Richmond Thursday evening: 17-25, 25-19, 26-24. Setter, Taylor Combs led the lady wildcats in points with an impressive 12 aces, 5 assists, 3 kills, and 2 blocks. Madison Creager contributed 2 aces and 6 kills, Brooklyn Bockstiegel 3 aces, 4 kills, and 1 block, Rianna Mueller 3 aces, Taylynn Barr 2 aces 1 kill, Emma Winemiller 3 aces, Lacie Tedrick 2 blocks, Makenna Maddix 2 blocks, Autum Medley 1 block, and Sam Naylor with 1 kill.

8/30/17 - BMS Football 
The Blanchester wildcat 8th grade football team traveled to williamsburg weds 8/30 and defeated burg 50-6.   Scoring was a common theme in this game for the wildcats.  Adam Frump led the way with 2 passing and 2 rushing touchdowns.  Blake coffman had 2 receiving touchdowns.  Bryan Bandow, Gabe McVey, and Jackson Bray also had 1 touchdown a piece.  Bryan, Gabe, and Owen Barnes all had 2pt conversions.  The defense was amazing giving up just one first down the whole game.  The defense was led by a strong defensive line that refused to bend.  The defense was led by Owen Barnes, Levi St John and Zane Panetta. - Coach Creekmore
