10/12/16 - MS FB
The Blanchester middle school football team took a pair of victories from the batavia bulldogs last weds night in front of a nice home crowd. The 7th grade started things off with a 12-6 thrilling victory with a goal line stance as time expired. The young cats were led on offense by Adam Frump 1 pass TD and 1 rush TD, and Blake Coffman 1 rec TD. The defense was led by Levi St John, Blake Coffman, Gabe McVey, and Zane Panetta.
The 8th grade team won in very dominant fashion with a 50-6 lopsided victory. The offense was led by Brayden Sipple 2 pass TD, and 1 rush Td, Gabe Peters 2 rush TD, Blake Richard 1 rush TD, Colt Conover 1 rush TD, and Brody Rice 2 rec TD. The defense was led by Blake Richard, Brady Phillips, Colt Conover, Gage Huston, and Kyle Hopkins. Great day for the Wildcats as they continue to empress.
The Blanchester middle school football teams finished there 2016 season with a 20-16 victory over Fayetteville, and a 42-0 victory over Bethel. The week started off monday evening with a 20-16 victory over Fayetteville. Adam Frump passed for 2 TD's to Blake Coffman, and Jacob Hamm. Blake Richard also ran is a touchdown. The defense was tough, and was led by Levi St John, Jackson Bray, and Zane Pannetta.
The final game of the season was against Bethel, and the Wildcats took care of business with a 42-0 victory. Brayden Sipple finished strong with 4 passing TD's, 3 to Brody Rice, and to Trenton Czaika. Blake Richard also added a rushing TD. The deffense was dominant recording 5 interceptions. Blake Richard had and interception return for a TD. The other players that recorded int's were Kyle Hopkins, Tre Mowry, Trenton Czaika, and Blake Coffman. -Coach Creekmore

The Blanchester 7th grade volleyball team won against Goshen in 2 games, 25-18 & 26-24.
Rianna Mueller led the Ladycats with 8 points, 5 aces, a kill and an assist. Madison Creager had 5 points, 4 aces and a kill. Taylor Combs had 3 ace points. Daelyn Staehling had 3 points and 2 aces. Madison Coyle had 3 points and an ace. Makenna Maddix contributed 2 points.
The 7th grade avenged their loss against Goshen from earlier in the year.

The young cats struggled to put something together on offense. The defense played well at times led by strong play from St John, Panetta, and Ryan Brewer. The young wildcats look to bounce back next week when Batavia comes to town.

The Blanchester wildcat middle school came home with a pair of impressive wins Sept 21 against Norwood.
The 7th grade won 16-8. The offense was led by Adam Frump 1 pass TD, Gabe McVey 1 rush TD, and Ryan Brewer 1 rec TD. The defense was led by Frump, St John, McVey, and Jackson Bray. It was an all around great team effort and a great bounce back effort.
The 8th grade won 48-6 in a very convincing fashion. The offense was led by Brayden Sipple 4 pass TD and 2 rush TD. Trenton Czaika 2 rec TD, Brody Rice 1 rec TD, Colt Conover 1 rec TD, and Gabe Peters 1 rush TD. Czaika, Blake Richard, Brody Rice, Timothy Mowry all had 2pt conversions. The defense was as alway very, very strong giving Norwood very little. The defense was led by Brady Phillips. Blake Richard, Colt Conover, and Gage Huston. Great game all the way around.
These 2 football teams continue to improve, and there play on the field is showing that. Very proud to be a Wildcat said Coach Creekmore.

The Blanchester middle school football team again won a pair of games against Western Brown on weds Sept 7. The 7th grade won 32-12. The offense was lead by Adam Frump 2 rushing TD, Blake Coffman 2 rushing TD, and Gabe McVey 1 rushing TD. The defense was led by Adam Frump, Levi St John, and Jackson Bray. Well played game all around for this young group.
The 8th grade team won 40-12 with a complete route of the Western Brown Broncos. Brayden Sipple led the way on offense with 6 total TD's. Brody Rice 3 Rec TD's, Trenton Czaika 1Td rec, and Gage Huston 1 TD rec. The defense was awesome yet again led by Brady Phillips, Blake Richard, and Colt Conover. The 8th grade defense was nothing short of amazing.
Both teams travel to New Richmond next weds Sept 14. Games are 7th 4:30 pm, and 8th 6 pm. -Coach Creekmore
