The girls' track team placed 2nd at the SBAAC conference meet last night! It was exciting to see how many personal records were broken! Gabby Nelson placed 7th in the 200 dash Allie Davis placed 2nd and had a PR in the 400 meter dash Olivia Gundler placed 4th in the 800 Olivia Gundler placed 4th in the mile Megan Highlander placed 1st in 100 hurdles Harley Henson placed 5th and had a PR in the 100 hurdles Megan Highlander placed 4th in the 200 hurdles and had a PR The 4x100 relay placed 8th The 4x200 relay placed 5th The 4x400 relay placed 3rd Kassidy Abney placed 1st and had a PR in the shotput Regan Ostermeier placed 2nd and had a PR in the shotput Kassidy Abney placed 1st in the discus Regan Ostermeier placed 2nd in the discus -Coach Nichols The Blan MS boys track team finished off a very successful and memorable season last night at the SBC league meet. Out of 13 middle schools, the boys finished 2nd, 19 points behind New Richmond and 44 points ahead of 3rd place Mt. The girls placed FIRST - beating out EIGHTEEN teams, including a division one team! Regan Ostermeier lead the way winning first in both shotput and discus Megan Highlander placed 2nd in 100m hurdles Allie Davis placed 2nd in the 400 dash Olivia Gundler placed 3rd in the mile and 3rd in the 800 meter run The 4x400 relay team placed 3rd Olivia, Emily, Brianna, Allie The boys Blanchester MS track team had another great team performance last night by placing 2nd, to only Division 1 Mount Healthy, in the 18 school Bethel Tate invitational. 1st place finishers were: Derick Bowman - 110 Hurdles 4x200 relay team - Brent Hopkins, Ramiro Torres, Dale Sturgill, & Cody McCollister only 1.1 seconds off the school record. 2nd place finishers were: Tanner Creager - 1600 meter run Derick Bowman - 200 m hurdles 3rd Place finishers were: Nick Grogg - discus 4x400 relay team - Dylan Martinez, Ramiro Torres, Ricky Davis, & Tanner Creager. 4/25/15 - MS Track
The Blanchester Middle School boys track team brought home yet another trophy Saturday, after winning the 12 team Clinton Massie Invitational. The Blanchester boys middle school track team brought home their 4th trophy in as many meets last night after winning the 12 school Western Brown Invitational. The wildcat track team finished 10.5 points ahead of 2nd place New Richmond. The individual results will be announced this afternoon after the we receive the results from Western Brown. Girls 3rd Boys 1st at the Georgetown Invitational. The Blanchester Middle School Track Team brought home more hardware Monday night by placing first in the Georgetown invitational out of 9 schools. The boys finished 21 points ahead of the 3rd place team only losing to the host school - New Richmond.
