The Wildcats Golf improved to 4-2 on the year.
The Blanchester golf team picked up another close win Thursday night, defeating New Richmond 172 to 174 at the Elks 797 Golf Club.
For New Richmond, it was the first loss of the season after an 8-0 start. Chris Mazzaro for the Lions was match medalist with an even par 35.
Reilly Hopkins of Blanchester had a career-low 2-over par 37 on the front nine to lead the Wildcats.
Zane Bolin also had a career-best score with a 48.
Brad Christoff had a 41 and Roger Buerkle carded a 46. Matt Beebe also shot 48 for BHS.

8/20 - Golf team wins again!
Wildcats improve to 3-2 on the season with a big win over Goshen.  The Blanchester golf team defeated Goshen 180 to 202 Wednesday in a match at Deer Track Golf Course.

The Wildcats, now 3-2 on the season, were led by Reilly Hopkins, who earned medalist honors with a 5-over par 40 on the back nine of the Clermont County layout.

Brad Christoff shot a 45 and Alec Richardson carded a 46 for BHS. Roger Buerkle had a 49.
