BHS boys tied for 2nd in SBC Divisional

BATAVIA - The Blanchester boys golf team tied for second Tuesday in a Southern Buckeye Conference Divisional match at Elks Run Golf Course.

The Wildcats and Batavia Bulldogs both shot 190, 20 strokes back of divisional winner Georgetown.

Reilly Hopkins led Blanchester with an 8-over par 43.

Blan boys drop match to Milford

The Blanchester High School boys golf team was defeated by Milford 157 to 176 Tuesday at the Elks 797 Golf Club.

The loss puts the Wildcats at 10-9 on the year.

Reilly Hopkins led Blanchester with a 40.

BHS boys no trouble with CNE at Elks

The Blanchester boys golf team bounced back from a Monday loss to Wilmington and defeated Clermont Northeastern by 34 strokes, 180 to 214, Tuesday at the Elks 797 Golf Club.

"It was nice to bounce back," said BHS coach Aaron Lawson. "Everyone played well tee to green."

Reilly Hopkins was match medalist with a 41.

"Reilly put together another nice round," Lawson said. "It seems he is battling one hole every time out in order to break 40. He is right there."
