Boys bowling defeats East Clinton, Girls fall - 1/27/21
The Blanchester Wildcat bowling squads wrapped up their league play tonight against the East Clinton Astros at Royal Z Lanes.
For the Ladycats, Mariah Lanham led with a two game series of 250 pins, followed by Caili Baumann with 215, Madison Pembleton with 199, Kayla Lanham with 189, and Kylie Campbell with 180. The Ladycats fell to the Astros 1,219 to 1,828. Although they went winless during the season, the Ladycats have a good chance of improving their record at the league tournament now that they are back to a full squad being able to participate.
For the boys, Brian Miller led with a two game series of 384 pins, followed by Bryan Brewer with 374, Ryan Brewer with 341, Dakota Abney with 294, and Carter Stevens with 287. Braxton McFaddin also contributed in the Baker’s games. The Wildcats bested the Astros 2,013 to 1,864. The boys ended the regular season with a league record of 6-6.
Blanchester will finish up the season on February 6th at the SBAAC league tournament.

Bowling teams take defeat at Georgetown - 1/25/21
The Blanchester Wildcat Bowling squads returned to Georgetown Community Lanes on Monday to take on league front-runners, the G-Men.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a two-game series of 285 pins, followed by Caili Baumann with 226, Kayla Lanham with 214, and Mariah Lanham with 182. Georgetown was a dominant force and bested the Ladycats 1,944 to 1,117.
For the boys, Ryan Brewer led with a 413 pin series, followed by Carter Stevens with 369, Bryan Brewer with 364, and Brian Miller with 317. Single games were bowled by Jacob Shelton and Taylor Cochran scoring 141 and 109 respectively. Both teams bowled exceptionally well, however Georgetown hit hard in the Bakers games to out-score the Wildcats 2,268 to 2,001.

The Blanchester Wildcat bowling squads traveled to Georgetown Community Lanes Friday evening to compete against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a two game series of 264 pins, followed by Kayla Lanham with 245 (personal best of 145 included), Mariah Lanham with 210, and Caili Baumann with 198. The Cardinals topped the Ladycats 1,453 to 1,054.
For the boys, Ryan Brewer led with a two game series of 403 pins (also with a personal best of 220), followed closely behind by Bryan Brewer with 402, Brian Miller with 311, and Carter Stevens with 269. Individual games were bowled by Dakota Abney and Braxton McFaddin with a 110 and a 103 respectively. The Wildcats out-bowled the Cardinals 1,928 to 1,251.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a two game series of 264 pins, followed by Kayla Lanham with 245 (personal best of 145 included), Mariah Lanham with 210, and Caili Baumann with 198. The Cardinals topped the Ladycats 1,453 to 1,054.

Wildcat bowlers perform well, but fall to CNE - 1/21/21
The Blanchester Wildcat bowling squads traveled to Batavia Bowl to compete against the Clermont Northeastern Rockets Thursday evening.
For the Ladycats, Caili Baumann led with a two game series of 293, followed closely by Mariah Lanham with 291 (included a personal best of 160), Madison Pembleton with 234, and Kayla Lanham with 230 (also with a personal best of 132). The Ladycats had the disadvantage of playing short a bowler and lost to the Rockets 1,200 to 1,730.
For the boys, Ryan Brewer led with a two game series of 403, followed by Bryan Brewer with 366, Brian Miller with 354, and Carter Stevens with 301. Jacob Shelton and Taylor Cochran each bowled a single game of 119 and 87 respectively. Although they entered the final game with a slight lead, the Wildcats weren’t able to maintain it and lost to the Rockets 1,939 to 1,969.

The Blanchester Wildcats Bowling squads hosted the Bethel-Tate Tigers Wednesday evening at Royal Z Lanes.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a two game series of 274 pins, followed by Caili Baumann with 228, Kayla Lanham with 226, and Maria Lanham with 212. Both the Ladycats and Tigers bowled short a player with the Tigers edging out the Ladycats 1,192 to 1,106.
For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with a two games series of 369, followed closely by Ryan Brewer with 366, Carter Stevens with 288, Brian Miller with 281, and individual games bowled by Taylor Cochran and Jacob Shelton with 118 and 107 respectively. The Wildcats bested the Tigers 1,786 to 1,497 improving their record to 4-4 in league play.

For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a two games series of 241, followed by Mariah Lanham with 226, Kylie Campbell with 208, Kayla Lanham with 207, and Caili Baumann with 180. The Goshen Warriors defeated the Ladycats 1,800 to 1,490.
For the boys, Carter Stevens led with a two games series of 361, which included a personal best of 243. Also bowling for the Wildcats were Bryan Brewer with a series of 350, Ryan Brewer with 327, Brian Miller with 297, as well as single games by Dakota Abney and Braxton McFaddin with 134 and 80 respectively. The Warriors defeated the Wildcats 2,429 to 2,295.

For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with a two game series of 345, followed by Ryan Brewer with 336, Brian Miller with 264, Dakota Abney with 209, while Jacob Shelton and Taylor Cochran bowled single games with 122 and 88 respectively. For the girls, Madison Pembleton shot a two game series of 247, followed by Kylie Campbell with 224, Mariah Lanham with 217, Kayla Lanham with 208, and Caili Baumann with 189. The Lady G-Men bested the Ladycats 1,506 to 1,287.
For the boys, Ryan Brewer lead with a two game series of 389, followed by Bryan Brewer with 359, Brian Miller with 301, Dakota Abney with 284, while Braxton McFaddin and Jacob Shelton bowled single game scores of 128 and 86 respectively. The G-man also bested the Wildcats 1,959 to 1,826.

The Blanchester Wildcat bowling teams competed against Williamsburg again this week on Thursday night in Batavia.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a series of 271 pins followed by Caili Baumann with 226, and Kylie Campbell with 204. They lost 810 to 1,234 to Williamsburg. The Ladycats have a conference record of 0-4.
For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with a series of 310 pins followed by Dakota Abney with 294, Jacob Shelton with 285, Brian Miller with 263, and Taylor Cochran with 200. They also lost to Williamsburg, 1,644 to 2,046. Blanchester has a conference record of 2-2.
For the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton led with a series of 271 pins followed by Caili Baumann with 226, and Kylie Campbell with 204. They lost 810 to 1,234 to Williamsburg. The Ladycats have a conference record of 0-4.

The Blanchester Wildcat bowling squads hosted the Williamsburg Wildcats Monday evening at Royal Z Lanes in Wilmington.
For the girls, Madison Pembleton led with a 266 pin series followed by Caili Baumann with 205, and Kylie Campbell with 185. The girls played short and could not keep up with the full force of Williamsburg, losing 748 to 1,240.
For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with a 430 pin series followed by Carter Stevens with 306, Brian Miller with 250, Taylor Cochran with 238, and Dakota Abney with 210. Blanchester’s boys also lost to Williamsburg 1,708 to 2,027. Blanchester will travel to Batavia Lanes on Thursday to take on Williamsburg again.

The Blanchester Wildcats bowling teams competed against Felicity-Franklin on Wednesday morning at Royal Z Lanes.
The Ladycats were short one bowler but still managed to keep the pin count close losing 1,097 to 1,409. Madison Pembleton led the Ladycats with a series of 259, followed by Caili Baumann with 207, Kylie Campbell with 198, and Mariah Lanham with 190.
Blanchester’s boys squad defeated Felicity 1,829 to 1,152. Leading the Wildcats was Bryan Brewer with 362, followed by Ryan Brewer with 314, Brian Miller with 289, Carter Stevens with 252, and Jacob Shelton with 227. Dakota Abney also contributed to the win with his involvement in the Baker games.
The Wildcats will compete again at Royal Z against the Astros of East Clinton next Wednesday.

The Blanchester Wildcat bowling teams competed against the Clinton Massie Falcons on Wednesday night at Royal Z Lanes. Both Wildcat squads lost to the Falcons. Scores for the girls were 982 to 1,658 and the boys 2,069 to 2,317.
Unfortunately for the Ladycats, they were short two members so they were only able to bowl with three. Leading the pin count for Blanchester was Madison Pembleton with a two game series of 317, followed by Caili Baumann with 215, and Mariah Lanham with 167.
For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with a two game series of 470 which included a new personal record of 279. His brother Ryan Brewer bowled a 394 followed by Brian Miller with 278, Taylor Cochran with 252, and bowling single games were Carter Stevens with 119 and Braxton McFaddin with 107.
The Wildcats are scheduled to host Williamsburg next Monday.

The Blanchester Wildcat bowling teams had their season opener against the East Clinton Astros on Monday night at Royal Z Lanes. The Ladycats lost 1,353 to 1,648 while the boys won 2,094 to 1,895.
Returning this season for the Ladycats, Madison Pembleton bowled a two game series of 248 and Kylie Campbell had 211. Newcomers include Makayla Lanham with 204, Mariah Lanham with 184, and Caili Baumann with 167.
For the boys, Bryan Brewer led with 370, followed by Ryan Brewer with 306, Carter Stevens with 305, Dakota Abney with 277, and Brian Miller with 252. Jacob Shelton also contributed to the victory in the Baker games.
