Blanchester’s freshman boys basketball team pulled away Friday night to defeat Williamsburg 49-28. Hunter Bare led Blanchester with 15 points. Tanner Creager added 13 points. Kaleb Goodin scored eight points. Jay Ashcraft chipped in seven points. Braden Roy had four points. Orin Potts scored two points.
JV rallies to win in OT
JV boys basketball team outscored Williamsburg 9-0 in overtime Friday en route to a 37-28 victory. Eric Patton led Blanchester with eight points. Brant Bandow and Wesley Mitchell added four points each. Preston Griffin and Noah Armocida each had three points. Cole Feirl, Chase Sturgill and Jacob Fischer scored two points each.

Freshman fall in Overtime
Despite an outstanding individual performance by Tanner Creager, the Blanchester freshman boys basketball team fell in overtime Tuesday to Batavia, 40-37. The game was tied at 36 at the end of regulation.
Creager finished with 29 of Blanchester’s 37 points. Hunter Bare added four points. Braden Roy and Chantz Dalton each had two points.
JV comeback falls short
The Blanchester boys reserve basketball team’s furious fourth quarter comeback fell short Tuesday in a 41-36 loss to Batavia.
Blanchester trailed 34-21 at the end of three quarters. Blanchester outscored Batavia 15-7 in the fourth, but fell just short. Wesley Mitchell led Blanchester with 12 points. Jacksson Waialae added five points.
Noah Armocida and Nevan Coyle each added four points. Preston Griffin and Brant Bandow each had three points. Cole Feirl and Jacob Fischer each had two points, while Lane Heeg had one point.
